As more fans discuss the director's cut from Suicide Squad, David Ayer has revealed details of the scene between Joker (Jared Leto) and Monster T (Common).  Suicide Squad has brought together several of DC's biggest villains, including Deadshot, Harley Quinn and Captain Boomerang.  Although the film touts a star cast with Margot Robbie, Will Smith, Viola Davis and others, it debuted in 2016 with mixed reviews.  However, in the time since its release, Ayer has made it clear that the finished product differs from its intended vision, which leads some to hope for an exit from Ayer Cut.

For his part, Ayer revealed the details of the cuts made to his film rather slowly.  In fact, he first insisted that the film released was his cut.  However, in 2018, Ayer admitted that "the film released was very different from the original assembly".  The Joker seems to be one of the characters most affected by the changes made before the release of Suicide Squad.  Ayer revealed a side storyline involving Joker and Enchantress that never made the final film.  The director deepened this month, saying that "most" of Leto's work as a Joker "remains invisible".

Recently, Ayer again discussed the role of Joker in Suicide Squad, revealing a moment cut from the final version.  In the film, Common briefly appears as Monster T, a version of the tattooed man from the comic strip.  He makes his attraction to Harley Quinn known, which Joker doesn't like.  After a few uncomfortable moments, Joker shoots Monster T in the head out of jealousy.  However, Ayer has now revealed that it was the origin of a "long scene" involving an even darker death for Monster T, in which "Joker intimidated him to commit suicide".

It makes sense that fans would ask more questions about the possible cutoff from the director of Suicide Squad, given the events of this week.  After years of speculation and fan support, Zack Snyder has announced that his Justice League cup will finally be released.  Although the Ayer Cup from Suicide Squad has not received publicity from the Snyder Cut, there is still a section of DCEU fans who are hoping for its release, or at the very least, more information on scenes like this.  this.  The Snyder Cut of Justice League is headed for HBO Max.

However, Ayer told fans earlier this week that his film would likely not receive the same treatment.  In a tweet, he said, "It's just not my call or my IP ... My Suicide Squad cut may still be just a rumor."  However, fans must think that just a few years ago, the Snyder Cut was just a rumor as well, so that it eventually turned into a fully realized project.  It would be a long, unsuccessful trip for Ayer and his fans, but that doesn't mean that the director's cup from Suicide Squad will never see the light of day.
